Inspirational Story

Robin Lansman

Name: Robin Lansman

Role: Osteopath, with experience of working in a wide range of roles for over 30 years. I am now developing Speaker skills coaching for AHPs which has recently run for Health Education England in the South West

Are there any key points you would like to share from your experience?

Building trust in patients and referring health professionals means being consistent, open and honest and listening and reacting to feedback. This is the biggest help for clinical and leadership development and growth. Trust is slow to win and quick to lose.

What have you learnt through your career journey and experience over 30 years?

Being entrepreneurial and working with what is available and developing opportunities is key to making things work out.

Realising this early on was key to me as an osteopath. Finding a vision and developing a confident voice to lead your mission makes things much easier to navigate.
