Since graduating in 2017 I started working in a rotational post, I rotated through four areas before getting a static post in Orthopaedics.
I was able to progress within this area and get a secondment as a band 6.
In 2022 I left the NHS to begin working within the council equipment and adaptation team, aswell as a role as an Independent Medical Assessor for blue badge assessment.
I found out about it through my mum who works as an AHP and also met another OT who really encouraged me to go for it.
